The process
Every NM piece follows the same five stages, in the same room, before it's approved for sale. Nothing is outsourced.
Each design is carved in wax by hand or modelled digitally, then cast in resin for a fit check.
The wax is invested and cast in premium brass, then prepared for plating using the lost-wax method.
Stones are hand-selected for colour match and set one at a time under a loupe.
Multiple polishing passes bring up the finish — matte, brushed, or high-shine, depending on the piece.
A final inspection checks every prong, hinge and clasp by hand before it ships.
Materials
Premium gold plating — multiple micro-layers of gold plated over a solid brass base, thick enough to outlast typical fashion-jewellery plating by years.
Rhodium & silver-tone plating — used on its own for pieces meant to be worn matte or bright silver-tone, and as the base under select gold pieces.
Stone — AAA-grade cubic zirconia and premium crystal, hand-set and diamond-cut for real sparkle.
A few habits that keep the plating and stones looking new.
Put jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hairspray — and take it off before you wash up or swim.
Keep pieces separated in the pouch provided, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
A soft polishing cloth after wear keeps the plating bright and prevents tarnish build-up.
Custom orders qualify for lifetime re-plating and repair at the atelier — see contact for details.
