Our story
NM Jewels began in 2014 with a single workstation and a simple belief: jewellery doesn't have to be genuine gold to be genuinely well made. Twelve years and a lot of hard work later, that's still the whole philosophy.
Where it started
NM Jewels started small — long nights, a lot of trial and error, and a refusal to let "it's just fashion jewellery" be an excuse for cutting corners. The goal was simple: pieces that looked and felt as good as fine jewellery, without the price tag or the guesswork of mined gold and gemstones.
That meant testing plating until it stopped fading, sourcing stones that actually caught the light, and rejecting anything that wouldn't hold up to daily wear. What began as one person's stubbornness has grown into a small team who still hold every piece to that same standard.
Three things that shape every decision, from sourcing to packaging.
Multi-layer plating and hand-set stones on every piece — never the thin wash that fades in a season.
Nickel-free and hypoallergenic by default, checked against daily wear before anything ships.
Every clasp and prong is designed to be re-tightened, re-plated, or re-set — not thrown away when it loosens.
NM Jewels starts as a single workstation, testing platings and settings late into the night.
NM Jewels' first ready-to-wear run — 40 hand-numbered signet rings, sold out in nine days.
NM Jewels moves to a thicker, longer-lasting gold plating process across every piece, raising the bar on durability.
NM Jewels grows to a three-person atelier — still every piece checked by hand before it ships.
Rings, earrings, chokers, chains, bracelets, cuffs and anklets — every piece still made to order, and still checked by hand before it ships.
